Transducer Lab, Tweeter Grille

A nice grille to protect the sensitive domes of all Transducer labs tweeters.  It is made from a ferrous material so it naturally adheres to the tweeter faceplate via magnetic attraction.

They may also be suitable protection for other brands as well.

Dia. – 40mm – 1-5/8″

Height – 6mm – 1/4″

Be careful when attaching the grilles to the tweeter.  The magnetic force will draw the grille towards the dome and can cause damage to metal or ceramic domes.

The grille will stay in place from the magnetic attraction.  It’s convenient to be able to remove it during serious listening sessions and then reattach for protection from curious hands.

The downside is the grille can still be bumped sides ways and cause damage to metal or ceramic domes.

If shipping or transporting your system, consider gluing the grille down with a few drops of adhesive.  Any jarring during transport and cause the grille to come loose and cause damage.
